MULEMBE VIBES

MULE Dear Friends, It was indeed sad for Kenya as we lost two leaders in a plane crash on June 10. The deaths of Prof. George Saitoti and his assistant Orwa Ojode, two pilots and their bodyguards, sadly coincided with the fourth anniversary of the deaths of roads Minister Kipkalya Kones and Lorna Laboso, who also died in a chopper crash. As a God- fearing natrion of all faiths we need to pray for the country, especially now that we are approaching the General Election. We pray that the elections will be peaceful. We should also remember the plight of the unfortunate many such as he plight of squatters and IDPs. They are a forgotten lot, even as the government settles the IDPs. Land still remains a focal point in Kenya; it was the basis upon which the struggle for independence was waged. Sadly though, many Kenyans remain landless despite the sacrifices made by their fathers and forefathers. MBE VIBES
